Travel has always been a passion in my life, whether it was riding in the back of the car when I was little and waiting to see the new destination my family was headed to, or even now taking my kids to see something they haven’t seen before. The adventure of turning a corner to see what may be around the bend has always been a thrill. But Disney has continually been at the center of it all. When I was little, I longed to go to Walt Disney World. I would hear of friends going, and I couldn’t wait to be able to cross those magical gates. My first time was in 1983 when I went to Florida to compete in a pageant, and then there was no turning back. The turning point really started in November of 1995, when I went to Epcot for Thanksgiving with my grandfather, who lived in FL. My grandmother had passed away that year, and we needed to spend the holiday doing something non-traditional to soften some of the grief. Then the next memorable visit was in 1996 when I went to Orlando for my honeymoon. Disney can be just as magical for adults as it is for kids. And so it began, the regular pilgrimage to one of my most favorite places. I always say that my kids are very fortunate to have a Disney crazy mom as they have been going to Walt Disney World since I was pregnant with each of them, and now they are just as Disney crazy.
Although I feel I have only begun really traveling, I have been fortunate to have personal experiences in many destinations such as Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens Tampa, Norwegian Cruise Line, the Bahamas, Prince Edward Island, Hawaii, Costa Rica, and traveling all around the U.S. In 2022, I traveled to Alaska with American Queen Voyages, to Croatia with Katarina Line, and on cruises with Royal Caribbean, MSC, Norwegian, and Virgin Voyages. My bucket list is pretty extensive, so this list will be steadily growing, and I have lots to look forward to.
I am very proud to be a Co-Owner of Coasters & Castles Travel, and it is truly a dream come true. I look back, and think ‘why didn’t I do this years ago?’ But everything happens for a reason. It was necessary to pursue other directions to help build my professional experience. I have a degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology, and I was a retail manager, a training manager, and a marketing manager for over twenty years. These jobs helped to shape me and my desire to build a business focused on creating a team who works together, helps each other, and most importantly supports each other. We have been blessed with a team of amazing Travel Advisors, who have made invaluable contributions to the agency. Their passion for helping people make memories while traveling is really second to none.
We strive to ensure our clients are given the utmost attention to detail by listening to their hopes and expectations for their vacation and creating plans to make those hopes a reality. We enjoy taking the stress and work away from our clients so they are left with the opportunity to spend their time making memories.
Whether it is the escape from reality, quality time with loved ones, the peace of being out in nature, laughter until you cry, thrills of trying something new, opening your mind to new cultures and ideas, or collecting the most treasured memories, travel can give you what you may need. We love being able to share this with our clients.
Thank you for letting Coasters & Castles Travel build the magic for you!
