Animal Kingdom topiaries
Do you love flowers? plants? gardening? horticulture? Are you an avid gardener? If you love any of these, attending the Walt Disney World Flower and Garden Festival is for you! It is not only a magical time to visit the parks, but it can also be an educational time as well. EPCOT is turned into a gorgeous park full of color and topiaries that will make your head spin.
During this festival you will see all your favorite characters so realistically represented in Topiary form. The gardeners at WDW truly outdid themselves as you can see by my photographs taken last March. And it is supposed to be even better for 2017.
Beauty and the Beast
Not only will you enjoy a special time at Walt Disney World, the weather will be especially nice as the summer heat and humidity should be absent in March and April.
The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival takes place every spring and is enjoyed by thousands, but there are ways to avoid the crowds. This year (2017) it starts March 2 and ends May 29, giving one a large amount of time to plan and schedule your magical vacation! There is something for everyone, from the littlest kids: topiaries of favorite Disney characters and special play-spaces, to the adults: beautiful plantings, topiaries, seminars and outdoor concerts. For fans of EPCOT's Food & Wine Festival and other food lovers, there are Outdoor Kitchens to sample new foods. You can even book specialized tours to learn even more about the Flower and Garden festival.
I was there last March and these photos were taken by an ordinary iphone! As you can see by my photos, lots of characters are there, and these photos are just a sampling of what you will experience on your magical vacation during this festival.
