'Happily Ever After' Debuts at Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World debuted a brand new fireworks show called "Happily Ever After" at Magic Kingdom on May 12. My daughter and I happened to be at Walt Disney World this week and were able to see the last performance of 'Wishes' and this new show!

After seeing other guests start finding spots around Cinderella's castle around 6:00 pm, we decided to cancel our dinner reservation (since we had dined at the restaurant before) to find a spot to rest and wait for the show. I have been to WDW many times but have never seen a crowd like this!

If you have been to Walt Disney World and have enjoyed the Once Upon a Time projection show, you will love Happily Ever After. The show is a combination of projection on the castle, lasers and fireworks. With many new and beloved characters like Moana, Elsa and Anna to old classics of Snow White, Cinderella to everything in between like Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan, Toy Story and The Incredibles, the show does not disappoint.

Even fans of Tinker Bell in Wishes will be happy to see she is part of the show. My daughter was happy to see many of the characters she grew up with in the show. Guest in the crowd would cheer and clap when their beloved characters and songs appeared in the show.

The end of the show provided an inspirational message to "grab a hold of your dreams and make them come true, for you are the key to unlocking your own magic. Now go, let your dreams guide you. Reach out and find your Happily Ever After!"
