What's your favorite Disney movie? is it Finding Nemo, Cars the Movie, The Lion King, or The Little Mermaid? Do you have a family of 5 or 6? Do you want a family suite? Do you want the newest, hippest, cutest themed rooms? Then Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the one for you. There are family suites as well as standard rooms.
There are family suites that sleep up to 6 with a separate bedroom with a queen size bed and bathroom that has a walk-in shower, there is a foldout couch with a double bed in the living area, a table that folds into a double murphy bed, another bathroom with a tub, and a small kitchen area with sink, mini fridge, and microwave. There is plenty of room to store your things with two sets of drawers as well as two hanging areas. There are also two TVs. The rooms are very spacious, modern themed, as well as a place that makes you feel like you are in the movies.
You can feel like you are going under the sea with Nemo and friends, in the jungle with Timon, Pumba, and Simba, or driving through Radiator Springs with Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Doc Hudson. The family suites have it all!
The Standard rooms are Little Mermaid themed and have with one king size or two double beds as well as a bathroom with a tub. There is also a hanging area as well as a set of drawers and a mini fridge. This is where you will see Ariel, Prince Eric, and everyones favorite villain, Ursula the sea witch.
The lobby highlights the process of creating an animated film with large sketches of your favorite characters. There is also an amazing food court call Landscape of Flavors, fun music, as well as a great gift shop to get those last minutes things you need.
Not only will the kids love it, the adults will too! There are three different pools, a laundry area, a bar, and arcade. So, the next time you are looking for a fun place to stay, I recommend that you choose Art of Animation....you won't be disappointed!
*The Family Suites were in the process of being refurbished at the time of the resort shutdown. All of Lion King and Finding Nemo were completed, but one building of Cars was not yet completed. Updates included hard surface flooring and fresh paint, and BEST OF ALL - new mattresses, with under the bed storage!!
