Looking for a break from the crowds and a chance to relax for a bit while in the Magic Kingdom? Look no further than the Liberty Square Riverboat.
Located in Liberty Square is a genuine steamboat, the Liberty Belle. She is a large 3- tiered paddleboat that navigates the waters of the Rivers of America. Although she runs on a track in the 9 foot waters, the paddle wheel that propels the boat is authentically fueled by boiler water that is turned into steam.
The Liberty Belle is a relaxing 20 minute ride around the Rivers of America. Narrated by Mark Twain, you will enjoy scenic views of Tom Sawyer’s Island, and get a real Wild West feel thanks to several props strategically placed along the banks of the river including some wildlife and an Indian Village. You will also enjoy unique perspectives of Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Thunder Mountain.
The Liberty Belle sets sail about every half hour and is a great respite for the middle of the day to escape the crowds and the heat. Guests may remain in wheelchairs and ECV’s while aboard.
