London Calling! Yes it was and we answered the call! We had the most beautiful weather for the 5 days we were there the first week of March for my daughter’s Spring Break!

We started the week with Tower Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral. While at St. Paul’s my Disney obsession kicked in and all I could hear is Mary Poppins singing “Feed the Birds”!

Day 2 was Tower of London which includes the White Tower, Ravens, and the The Crown Jewels. Youwalk in the footsteps of some its most famous residents like Henry the VIII, Anne Boleyn, and Queen Elizabeth I. After the Tower of London we then took an Uber boat on the Thames to Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower) and Parliament. We then toured Westminster Abbey. Here lies prominent figures in history such as Sir Issac Newton and more recently Stephen Hawking!

Day 3 started at Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard. We then spent the rest of the day at Warner Brothers Studios where they filmed all of the Harry Potter films over a 10 year period. Here we saw original sets, costumes, props, you name it! A must see for every Harry Potter fan!

Day 4 took us to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Oxford. Stonehenge was breathtaking! As you drive through the English countryside, the massive stones rise out of the horizon surround be beautiful green fields and white sheep.

Windsor Castle which includes St. George’s Chapel where Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth II rest. The castle is magnificent and so ornate! The King was in too so we were in the presence of Royalty! Oxford and Oxford University were equally as breathtaking and beautiful!

Day 5 began at the Borough Market for the viral Chocolate Covered Strawberries! 10/10 and highly recommended!! The market was full of lovely aromas of spices, different foods, baked goods, you name it! We had Afternoon Tea on a Double Decker bus with a Taylor Swift theme! So much fun driving around London with all the treats and seeing the London sights!

We then ventured to the Natural History Museum where one of the Night at the Museum movies was filmed. All museums in London are FREE to the public.

We ended our week with a showing at His Majesty’s Theatre of Phantom of the Opera! Fabulous as always no matter how many times you see it! We walked through Trafalgar Square taking it all in. It was a magical week exploring just a small bit of London!
