Did you know that there are Gulf Coast shores in Alabama? A nice perk about visiting Alabama’s coast is that you do not have to travel during the busy and expensive time of the year: Summer. The temperatures in Spring and Fall are still wonderful and hot enough to enough the ocean!
Another great weekend getaway is Miami Beach, Florida! Besides the beaches there are so many fun things to do including Wynwood which is a great district with amazing street art paintings and even better no charge so people can enjoy this for free! You can’t miss a visit Little Havana when you are in Miami Beach. This is a Cuban neighborhood where you can experience some great food and culture.
For a fun city adventure why not try Las Vegas and I am sure you heard the saying “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” A couple of things on my bucket list are going to Caesar’s Palace and visiting Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen that was inspired by his TV show.
Albuquerque, New Mexico will surprise you with as an old town featuring a tram and great festivals including a Balloon Festival!
My family lives in Asheville, North Carolina and they say that the charm in this town is like no other and reminds you of Star’s Hallow from Gilmore Girls. People love to climb the mountains and venture through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Nashville, Tennessee is yet another great getaway where you can enjoy some classic music! One of the most popular attractions there is the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. And a trip to the Grand Ole Opry should not be missed!
