Walt Disney World
The holidays will be coming to Walt Disney World beginning November 6th to December 30th. Enjoy festive décor, themed merchandise, seasonal food & beverage offerings and entertainment all across Walt Disney World Resort. Be delighted by the sight of festive flotillas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, holiday promenades at EPCOT and merry motorcades at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Character cavalcades at Magic Kingdom Park will take on a special holiday twist, with Christmas friends on festive floats in their holiday finest. There will be special projection effects to give a festive look to Cinderella Castle.
In Disney Springs, guests will discover Christmas around every corner as they come across a collection of elaborately decorated Disney Christmas trees spread throughout this retail, dining and entertainment destination. In the evening, Guests visiting areas within Town Center, West Side and The Landing will encounter a magical snowfall, adding an extra touch of wonder to their holiday shopping. And to top it off, Jock Lindsey will once again be turning his hangar bar into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar complete with delightful holiday décor and a delicious limited-time menu filled with festive favorites.
On Nov. 27, celebrate highlights from the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Holiday kitchens will return around World Showcase promenade.
· In the World ShowPlace, JOYFUL!, will present a journey through R&B, Gospel, contemporary and traditional Christmas and holiday music. Also, the Voices of Liberty will bring their incredible 8-part harmonies to the America Gardens Theatre stage for a special concert of favorite carols and songs of the season.
· Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the Candlelight Processional will not take place this year.
· Two Magic Kingdom attractions will be closing for a lengthy refurbishment as of October 5th: Tom Sawyer’s Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat. The refurbishment is listed through January 2nd.
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort has extended their Halloween happenings during regular park hours from September 26-27 and October 3-November 1.

Get in the sinister spirit of the season by dressing up when you visit Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Go creepy, classic or as your favorite character. Review costume guidelines at www.universalorlando.com.
Trick-or-Treating at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Grab a free trick-or-treat bag for your little one and go door-to-door collecting tasty treats from participating retail stores. But first you’ve got to find them. Keep a look out for pumpkin stickers marking each location. This experience is for guests 12 years of age and younger who must be with an adult to participate. One trick-or-treat bag per guest and one fill per participating location.
Scarecrow Stalk - Take part in all-new scavenger hunt across Universal Studios Florida. Grab a brochure in the park and find all 13 custom-crafted scarecrows and skeletons to receive a candy sampler bag, while supplies last.

Schedule Changes and Travel Suspensions
· 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Transition to Virtual Events.
o Participants who registered through runDisney.com will have the option of receiving a full refund for the race. Those who are registered with a U.S. mailing address may convert their existing registration to the new virtual event that can be completed from home, a local running track or favorite running trail.
o Eligible runners who participate in the virtual race will receive a medal for each distance they complete and the option of a race shirt, in addition to the satisfaction of completing the race they’ve trained for.
· Disneyland® Resort has begun a phased reopening of the Downtown Disney District. The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure® Park remain closed and will reopen at a later date, pending state and local government approvals.
Guests may be receiving email communication from Disney if they have a Disneyland Resort hotel reservation between now and Oct. 10, 2020, letting them know they may modify or cancel their Disneyland Resort hotel reservations or Walt Disney Travel Company packages. Ask your travel advisor for more information.
· Adventures by Disney has suspended their tours until November 30, 2020. They have also extended the final payment date for an extra 30 days for trips booked from December 1, 2020 through February 28, 2021 to be due 90 days prior to the vacation.
· Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa has reported a phased reopening. Given Hawaii’s recent announcement of a pre-arrival testing program for those traveling from out-of-state, they will begin a phased reopening beginning on Sunday, November 1. Clients may cancel their Aulani resort reservations up to 24 hours prior to their arrival date for stays through May 20, 2021 without Disney-imposed cancellation fees. This is a temporary modification to the Resort cancellation and refund policy and applies to both “room only” bookings and Walt Disney Travel Company vacation packages. Cancellation and refund policies are subject to change.
· Norwegian Cruise Line has announced itineraries throughout 2022 and some itineraries into 2023.
