We Visited Enchanted Rose

Updated: Jan 10, 2020

This past Tuesday October 8th, my husband and I were just beginning our celebratory vacation for our 10 year wedding anniversary (without our two boys!) when I got word that the Enchanted Rose, the new Beauty and the Beast inspired lounge at the Grand Floridian Resort was opening that same day! We had dinner reservations at Narcossee's on the water at the Grand Floridian that night so we stopped by to check it out after dinner.

It is located on the second floor and it is beautiful! The color scheme is amazing. There are 4 areas, each inspired by a unique location from the live-action film. The first room was inspired by the library with the lovely mantle, paintings and seating areas. I found a few clocks around the room that reminded me of Cogsworth. I love the shade of blue they used and how it compliments with the gold which was inspired by Belle's ball gown.

The next room is the main bar where the chandelier above was inspired by Belle's gown. This room has the same blue walls with gold accents as the library. A little touch I noticed was along the bar under the counter were numerous outlets for charging devices. I thought that was a nice modern and practical touch.

The third area was inspired by the Enchanted Forest which surrounds the Beasts castle. This may have been my favorite, the shade of green and the lighting really were enchanting and the painting made you feel like you were in a beautiful forest.

Then the outdoor patio overlooks the children's splash pad on the first floor below and was inspired by the castle gardens.

There was a lot of seating all thru the lounge and the menu features mocktails and small bites along with specialty cocktails and their large selection of wines, so it's family friendly.

Next time you are at the Grand Floridian Resort I highly recommend stopping by for an Enchanting evening!
